This work is about movement with intersecting lines and shapes. This work for me represents pure abstraction with the minimal use of color, variations in grey on the white paper creates bursts of energy. Like much of my work I play with the dynamic of movement and stillness, this work captures a moment in time in my studio. I consider this a monoprint because they day I started this I made I created five others with the same intent. Sometimes a form takes me and I try and push it through various stages. This is made on white paper with deckled edges.
