About The Artwork

Title: untitled abstract drawing no.290, Technique: Acrylic and ink on paper(80 gsm) mounted on pasteboard. Dim: 11.69 x 8.27 in (21x29.7 cm) year: 2020 Frame: unframed This drawing ships flat in cardboard box with respect of all suggestions from Saatachi Team about safe shipping metod. Drawing comes with SaatachiArt certificate of authenticity. *photos can slightly differ in tone and saturation of colors. *need to be framed. * frame is added digitally to show one of many possible solutions for framing. Artwork is on paper mounted on pasteboard and it is unframed. Abstract art is what I prefer. When I paint I am trying to make an half-abstract transformation of the figurative forms, in the end I finish with forms which give many opportunities to the observer. She or He can percept many different meanings, in one moment one form can represent one thing or idea in the other it can represent something absolutely new. It is changeable. I am trying to find harmony in forms, colors and other painting elements, my goal is to make such abstract composition and such combination of all that elements in which the one who observe my painting have some kind of exploration, participation and enjoyment of course. I want to lead the observer in that adventure which is called Painting, and in that voyage the main instruments are those which guide the eye in many directions and what is more important in direction toward main motive in picture, motive that is the center (non physical) of the Idea.

born 1990. in Serbia, my name is Milos Popov. I live in Belgrade which is the capital city of Serbia. I paint mostly with acrylic and egg tempera and draw with pen and ink. Abstract art is what I prefer. I participated in several collective international exhibitions. I earned my visual artist degree on art academy in Belgrade, Academy of Serbian Orthodox Church for Art and Conservation. When I paint I am trying to make an half-abstract transformation of the figurative forms. I start with figurative and on the end I finish with forms which give many opportunities to the observer. She or He can percept many different meanings, in one moment one form can represent one thing or idea in the other it can represent something absolutely new. It is changeable. I am trying to find harmony in forms, colors and other painting elements, my goal is to make such composition and such combination of all that elements in which the one who observe my painting have some kind of exploration, participation and enjoyment of course. I want to lead the observer in that adventure which is called Painting, and in that voyage the main instruments are those which guide the eye in many directions and what is more important in direction toward main motive in picture, motive that is the center (non physical) of the Idea. Also I have painted many Icons in Byzantine style for customers in Serbia and broad. Icons are very important part of home in country I live. For many years I have been struggling with finishing the natural forms in details, now I am trying to find the way forms finish by themselves.
