Exploration and Experimentation. I don’t limit myself to canvas and paint. The most important thing for me is the idea — then comes the choice of materials and the way to express it. I work with mixed techniques involving ceramics, polymer clay, photography, street art, and naïve painting, as well as collages and video performances. My goal is to uncover everyday biases and limitations rooted in our minds. To find, dismantle, and thus expand the inner space of people. To discover the sacred in the ordinary and the mundane in the sacred. I like to use irony to challenge seriousness and importance as subjects of exploration. I question the familiar and established. I challenge the facts. Through my art, I search for those trigger points within people, as that is where the potential for growth lies. I try to maintain a sense of childlikeness, as I see art as a form of therapy that heals our souls.
