I have been drawing since I was a child. My first drawings were geometric designs and I learned the colors of the spectrum. I remember doing an oil painting of an accordianist but I also painted pictures of bridges and roads and staircases. I like architecture and music. My first drawings were of the highways and bridges that I saw from my parent's car when we would drive around New York. In 1985, I participated in a group art show at the "Fun Gallery" on 10th Street and First Avenue. It was the last show before the Fun Gallery closed. She sold the two paintings I had in the show for me. The next year, I had a one man show at the First Presbyterian Church at Fifth Avenue and 12th Street. I sold a lot of paintings at that show. We also had a booth at the Washington Square Art Show in 1987. But in that year I got a good job working for The US Custom Service and my father had to concentrate on his career so after that I mostly only drew for myself.
