In these pieces, the black line manifests itself as a limit and synapse and transgresses the emptiness of the paper in a labyrinth of perceptions from which it seeks to free itself. The series ‘Vacuum to be’ represents for me the journey that the poet undertakes, pursuing freedom in its interior echoes. The poet is the archetype that includes all artists and creators whose purpose is to consciously build themselves as an individual without anesthesia, capable of connecting with the void to imagine and be creative. The void offers the poet all the options and possibilities to be and perform; in that freedom without conditioning, the human being is defined as becoming in constant movement and process of change. The apparent simplicity of the line, the lightness of the paper and the small size of the pieces are part of the very concept of the works, producing an unsolvable tension between the sought-after silence and the need for expression.
