About The Artwork

Thank you for watching my Art. The Wife of Potifar Potiphar is the captain of Pharaoh's guard who is said to have purchased Joseph as a slave and, impressed by his intelligence, makes him the master of his household. Unfortunately, Potiphar's wife, who was known for her infidelities, took a liking to Joseph, and attempted to seduce him. My Artworks are inspired by myself, but it's all about the buyer him/herself to let their imagination run free. Every person experiences Art in their own way, if this piece of Art touches of does something to you emotionally, then it suits you. Feel free to make an offer:-)

Jos Caelen (Heerlen, 1938) Jos Caelen lived and worked for a long time in Eijsden. Besides painting he writes prose and poetry: painting with words. In this exhibition paintings are shown. Experiencing Jos's art is not to stop at the layer of paint, but to discover the philosophy and soul of the maker under the skin of the painting. His process is a controlled process, sometimes he wants to go outside, then again he does not want to see a person. There are times when he is receptive to the outside world, at other times he wants to lock himself up in his studio to work on his paintings in complete seclusion, but one thing is certain: as an artist he introspects his work in every work. spiritual life. The curious thing about questions about art is that one question overlaps with another, that there are no answers to be given, for each question evokes another, just as each last painting is the starting point for another to revive dead matter ... Quote from Jos Caelen: `A good painting is a collection of matter that, fitting in the archetype of our brain, refers to what is experienced in our mind as harmony and truth, regardless of cultural backgrounds. And man uplifts. Jos Caelen's work can be found in private and national collections.
