"Once upon a time, a dragon abducted a princess and kept her jailed and frustrated in her tower. But one day, she found a way to break free and go find her true love." Two different painting techniques have been used to date in my painting career. The first splashing technique or thrown paint came at a time when I was confused and frustrated at where my life/career was headed. The use of colours and the method of painting reflects my emotions at the time. I call this collection Paradoxical feelings. The second painting technique came about when I realised that I could throw off the shackles of expectations and pursue a life and career that brought me joy. The blending of colours in a smooth harmonious method represents a much calmer and optimistic view to the future. I call this collection Optimism and hope.
