About The Artwork

Dessin a l'encre noire, pointe fine sur papier blanc 350g, paysage provençal à travers les forêts. Black ink drawing, fine line on white paper 350g. Landscape in Provence through dense woods. Les arbres sont princes de l’immobilité. Ils prouvent que la puissance ne se définit pas par le mouvement. Leur royaume est le terrain qu’ils couvrent de leur ombrage. Parfois il est bon de faire l’arbre. S’asseoir sur la terre. Humer la lumière. Laisser la fourmi nous escalader. Les arbres nous apprennent à nous méfier du regard global. Vous voyez la forêt de loin, vous croyez que c’est une masse indistincte composée du même arbre mille fois reproduit. Inspired by the beauty of South of France, I have seen the immense richness of these landscapes, bringing me to Art and Photography to depict this magical encounter. Crossing the hills of Provence , a multitude of species olive trees, junipers, Cypresses offer an endless choice to compose and shape new structures and to bring them into his intimacy on a daily basis. My work is a collective of everything in that environment 2002-2016: Art and Design Teacher then Head of Art, Design and Photography Department, from 11 to 19 years old students at Gordano School - Portishead- Nth Somerset- England Provision and delivery of Art et Design curriculum at all stages GCSE and A Level Application of an inclusive Arts teaching pedagogy. Responsible for Health and Safety regulation for staff and students in Art Department Collaboration of innovative multidisciplinary program, creation of signage in mosaic on the School site with young students Land Art workshops with environmental awareness Collaboration within the Faculty of creative Arts, Drama, Dance and Music of the annual performance with the planning of Set Designs and props Creation of multiple activities, including murals for exterior renovation in extracurricular Programme
