About The Artwork

In her works Dana Pandici creates a tensed world, which speaks of joy and pain at the same time. The contrasting surfaces, drawn with charcoal or painted in the spatula technique, follow one another in a unique figurative representation, were the details are given a cosmic consistency. In her drawings, she is focused on capturing both emotion and detail. Charcoal, rather versatile, able to produce lines with either soft or strong quality, allows her to approach texture, shading and tone with ease, giving her the freedom to create smooth drawings. This is a one of a kind drawing, done on Acuarelle Paper, with Professional Grade Aquarielle and Professional Grade Charcoal. The drawing is signed in front and back, and will be provided with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) (mixed media, aquarelle and charcoal on aquarelle paper, 2015, 24(H) × 32(W) cm / 9.45(H) × 12.6(W) inch)
