This figure is an inspiration post the drawing. I used a surface that took recycled or discarded paper, primed it with house paint to stabilize the substrate. Then after the paint was dry, I applied mineral spirits over the surface. I used a block of soft graphite, which literally melts in the mineral spirits and makes marks that allow me to realize the body. Some of the brush-like-strokes use a cloth to create directional definitions outside the body and head. The desire to touch the emotion via my drawing is part of the seductive and passionate form within the drawing.
