About The Artwork

I chose to study catfish because I like how its lustruous blob shape is an oppurtunity to pay attention to the way light is reflected by its skin, making it look like a sensual, mysterious apparition that seems to wave at you. It's also tube-shaped and its fins look like wings, it's Winged Hunger, and it's also very gracious, detecting minor changes in its surroundings like a seismograph.
