In drawings the text and images are elements of composition , designed with the help of diagram and Internet searcher . started from the date of the event which took place on the premiere show of individual films during World War II (the dates are taken from the Luka Popovic diary , who described the same day), to contemporary phenomena and concepts as the current "war framework."Art composition is shaped in form of social networks design (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube ...) where drawings and texts are creating a relations of: key pictures (reproduced frame from the film), manuscripts, preview image, status, hashtag, comments ...The drawing shows a frame from the scene of the cult film "Citizen Kane", when Kane's mother signing a contract that gives her child in exchange for a mortgage of house. As analogy is reproduced Luka Popovic manuscript from a diary , with the description of events on the day of writing.The text of hashtag "What did you do Milan?" refers to an important historic event in Yugoslavia, when Milan Acimovic become the prime minister, who on the same day signed the cooperation of the Yugoslav police with the occupier - the German army).

For almost 10 years, I have been implementing the "Myth of the Constructor" project, which deals with the culture of memory. From the perception of personal (found and discarded) artefacts of the unknown citizen Luka Popović and his wife Jelisaveta, through the questioning of my own heritage and ancestors, oral traditions and family legends, artistic or public cultural heritage, such as the life and work of the artist Nadežda Petrović, or a legacy of diferent local tradition. I also play with styles, eras, traditions and contemporary practices - techniques, collective memory, archetypal forms, sensory experiences, sprituality, mythology, history (etc.) in relation to contemporary social circumstances. Permeating different narratives from the past in the context of the present day, I try to produce new experiences for the observer who, contrary to the current trend of artistic practices, returns to the ancent searching for the beauty of the world, healing, nature and humanism.
