About The Artwork
Doom is a dark abstract landscape created with mixed techniques. I was driven by a strong sense after dieing my dad, who was my friend and wise teacher. This picture conveys the meaning of life, the way we accept dark and sad events, and continue to strive to see the light. The original 17.8x41.54x0.79 (45.2x105.5x2cm) artwork on selfmade canvas, is made with acrylic colors, texture paste with sand, silver petal. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience. It's signed by the author and ready to hang.
