Charcoal drawing depicting the Hollywood Center Motel, which has a very colorful past, from rock & roll bands to murder mystery. At the time I saw the outer gate & sign, I've been intrigued and found a way to create a visual mystery look to this area. I chose charcoal because I can manipulate it to look like an atmospheric treatment. You cannot quite make out the figures going up the sidewalk near it.
