About The Artwork

Featured: Imperishable Food for Thought by Keakahai. This series was inspired by writers and iconic figures who have given our society imperishable food for thought. The essence of greatness is the perception that virtue is enough. The first wealth is health. What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have never been discovered. Why need I volumes, if one word suffice? Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind. Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art. This artwork is made to help its viewers reflect upon the accumulation of insight this writer reveals. To be reminded of just one quote, may be a shame to his collection of mind. This drawing was made using graphite and gouache on bristol then cut and placed on another sheet of bristol for added effect.
