About The Artwork

I spent a day at the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum restoration hangar in Dulles, Virginia. This beautiful JRS-1 float plane was about to be restored. She was the last of her kind and had in her storied history survived Pearl Harbor. I sat on a ladder platform and drew the view from under her wing. Note this sketch stretches across two pieces of paper.
