SPARKLING LINES (Tokyo) is a scratching based on a nasa satellite photo of the Japanese capital Tokyo. The surface of the polyester fabric is covered by black acrylic paint and scratched following the original shape of the city in addition with further imaginary parts. The picture allows an analytical view as well as a poetic interpretation of the structures. It is one of a series of scratchings on big sea side cities.
