"Chart of the 10,000 Things" is part of a series called "The 10,000 Things / Read the signs" which aims at depicting the process of reading the sacred signs in the skies (of ancient China) by the most advanced Daoist Masters in order to help the people/the state in crisis.

The Dao generates Oneness.
Oneness generates Twoness.
Twoness generates Threeness.
Threeness generates the ten thousand things.

Harald Gsaller is an Austrian contemporary artist and writer. Artist's Statement: Gsaller’s practice encompasses the use of digital drawing / graphics, photography, video, text-image emblems and lecture performances / artist’s lectures.
