About The Artwork

I have been drawing on teabag envelopes for over 20 years. In them I have drawn quick sketches of artistic ideas and all kinds of series of drawings. Many people who know me gather me and donate their teabag envelopes in a true collaborative experience. The Wing Repairer are three framed works that collect 30 sachets of tea bags each. They tell the imaginary story of a mechanic who repairs angel wings. The story originates from the illness of a small baby and all the struggles to save him. Each particular work has an associated name, such as "Star Wars love", "the history of the Olivetti" and "the ascetic mechanic" that help complete the character's identity.

As an artist I focus on drawing and sculpture. In drawing I use classical techniques and in some cases I use the computer. My interests are focused on the human figure, language, typography, calligraphy, narratives, infograms, among others. My sculptures are made of steel and arise from my drawings through digital techniques.
