About The Artwork

This is my book of scribbles vol. 1. The book has sketches, drawings and photos from between 2011 to 2019. It is where I have undertaken my thoughts, concept ideas to the lager drawings/paintings or simply scribbled for fun. My book of scribbles is a private collection of about 11 sketches or workings, 14 drawings of different poses as I build the ideas up, some detail drawings and around 20 photos of the models pose used as reference with notes and scribbles. All sketches and drawings are by pencil. The scribble book is the drawings of two different female models that are related and one sketch of a friend. The content is nude art and in parts a little more explicit than the rest so those images are not shown here. It is one of 3 volumes that will be for sale at a later date. The other two will be for sale when my new collection is complete because they relate to each other whereas this is a collection of random sketches and scribbles. This is all part of some new works of art that I am working on.

Artist, born in 1968. I am a believer in original artwork and the beauty of it.  Creating an artwork takes time and a lot of creative thought and challenges. For me it involves a process or a journey to get there. I love seeing the finished creation. I have been an artist from birth and studied at Jacob Kramer College of Art in Leeds, England. I did design and colour but excelled in life drawing and photography. I have always enjoyed what I do.  I do not use any computer design enhancement tools especially in photography. I might mess with the colour but that is because I like colour. For me it has always been the colour, the model, the room, the plug sockets, the imperfections and the moment. I like the rawness of things. Apart from all that I am against the uniformity of life. I believe in the free spirit, simple life goals and I hate control. I spent many years at several design companies and been a leading brand design consultant. By the late 1990s, I had become a well-known designer and headed a leading British interior design company in the north of England. I was known for creating exciting environments using shape, colour and light.  I became a regularly feature in Design Week, a UK national magazine for the design and marketing industry.  Based in Copenhagen, Denmark. My photography, drawing and paintings are influenced by my passion, Scandinavian and simple things. My collections of ink croquis are beautifully painted and immediately striking. I love the way the ink goes on the paper and the way the paper crinkles, adding depth. I enjoy the hours it takes to create a really good painting. I aim to be different in my style and like creating unique works of art and each photo, painting or ink croquis is an original one off. Experimental art is a secret passion. I will only ever sell original works which by its very natural means these are all limited works. What is here is a reduced view. I periodically exhibit. All my works are original, signed, dated and documented. They also come with a Letter of Authenticity.
