About The Artwork
Photographic installation. Original photos made of apple peel coming from vagina. Printed on archival paper. This installation was exposed at SVA, NY - Open studios show, in my 812 studio. I created a setting to manifest my personal vision about the right of personal freedom by celebrating lesbian love and sex. To say that the essence, longing, appearance, need of love are the same. Through my work, made by paintings, photos and installations, I reverse the concept of the forbidden fruit. Here the forbidden fruit becomes the right fruit: to enjoy - to perceive the fullness of our nature, of our being.
