ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Daedalus is an interactive artwork who took part in the "es kann eier legen" exhibition at the IAAB "basement galery ( Dreispitz OsloStraBe 10, 4142 Münchenstein Basel) from the 11th October to the 25th. At the beginning, figures and body where virgins from any graffity. Just the bodies, and the sound from a metropolitain in the air. People were allowed to write and draw in the figures. The result is an interactive fresco, made by the artist and the public on oil painting. For me, it is a realistic way of painting, as the human painted figures exist only entirely when they're mark by the others. What is contemporary in this work is the spontaneity of the marks, the same that we can find in any big cities metropolitain.

I mainly produce installations, sounds, paintings and photographs. I see my work as the build of an artificial world while mixing painted humans, common objects and a little bit of theater together in a tragi-comic way. The soundtracks I compose for each installation are here to remove the silence and the natural of the place while my photographs are created in order to be part of a larger structure.
