"Dysmorphia" is my most ambitious project to date in terms of both scale and duration. This artwork delves into the intricate theme of dysmorphia, a condition that profoundly influences our perception of our own bodies. The piece takes on an abstract, landscape-like quality, portraying a fragment of a heat map of a human hand. This juxtaposition symbolizes how dysmorphia can extend its influence to even the minutest details, such as the back of one's hand. Through this work, I aim to explore the profound impact of dysmorphia on our self-image and the intricate, often overlooked, aspects it can affect.
