audiovisual code of books that never had printed
Histo-grama proposes to speak about the manipulation of the public information by the medias. The piece is a multimedia and interactive installation, in which the audience activate changes on it.
The piece´s meaning gets us through the manipulation of the matrix. The original data are books and essays unprinted in Cuba, documents which survive underground in the city as a code encrypted by people.
In Histo-grama this information is encrypted and presented as colors and sounds in a psychedelic way to the audience.
Its logical prevalences at time you consume these documents in an incomprehensible language through all your sense.
HISTO-GRAMA is an audiovisual code of books that never had printed. Video sequences change with the interaction of the spectator using a microphone that works as a sound sensor.
The artist provides a laptop with the software running the artwork, instructions and one projector.
The artist has the disposition to take charge of the assembly of the artwork personally.
