All along people are inspired to leave individual messages in free surfaces in the public and private space. From the school and the study it is known: also tabletops are a very popular and suitable object of the communication. The strong aesthetic and social components of these restricted surfaces are instigators for the art project “I what here”. An artistic experiment and at the same time research project at public places like job-centers or also restaurants, there where people wait a time or stay. In addition tables are installed whose square format inspires the waiting to leave his personal message, possible from all sides equally. The self-generating surface of a tabletop and the formal and serial character of the respective work surfaces develop to a whole piece of art which indicates human forms of expression more differently of social and cultural origin in unconventional aesthetics, integrates different places and times and generates new artistic textures.
