Installation: Fiber, Textile, Fabric, New Medium, New Media on Wood, Soft (Yarn, Cotton, Fabric), Glass, Other.
I was inspired by Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Japan.
The work was created from tiny wool fibers, laying them out layer by layer onto MDF Backing board with tweezers. Wool is a living biologically pure material. It's warm, cozy, soothing, the colors are changeable depending on the lighting. It allows you to look at it getting a different mood at different time. The creating process took a few weeks of full time job.
The work is pressed with the ClearView™ PlexiGlas and framed with 54mm three step shabby chic black frame.
It can NOT be separated with frame or glass.
