About The Artwork

There is a myth that Peacocks were thrown out of paradise…. In our world the indigenous people are also been thrown out from their land by making them 'other' ...killing them, converting them from their religious believe and various political, cultural and economical aggressions. As Bengalis we gave our blood to achieve right to speak in mother language, 21st February is now International mother language day. In 1971 we achieved independence by sacrificing three millions of lives…among them so many were our indigenous people. It is a shame that we are continuing political, cultural and economical aggressions to our indigenous people. I hope our political leadership will change their mindset, and stop aggressions. I hope our indigenous people will get their right to speak and practice their mother language, they will be able to practice and preserve their cultural heritage. No one will convert them from their religious believes… They will have economical freedom including the right to their lands...They will return to Eden. My main inspirations for creating art: Oh dear! Please stop and stare... Do you see, what I see? If you do, please stop and share I guess all I really want, is to share Look, look... face of god! in the sky! That's where god lives, No, that's cloud, God lives in the leafs, in your heart, in the mud, in the dirt mom says, In the sky, in the ray In the ocean, on the sand, soil and clay. since that day I guess, I started my art, my play I am fascinated by the imagery in sky, in shadows, and in deferent textures around me...those imagery are my main inspirations for creating art and share!
