Transformation of a portrait with hands Installation

One collector once said that my works fascinate him with their tenderness, as each one of them comprises multiple variations of embraces. At this very moment I realized that one of my artistic goals is to depict an instant when we are alone with ourselves or with someone very close, sending our support to ourselves or to him. There is an inexhaustible source of force inside us, although sometimes we forget about it and lose ourselves, our life force as a result of everyday life difficulties when facing a wall of incomprehension or insurmountable obstacles. But if we would stop for at least one instant and reflect on what is the most important thing in our life, we would be able to answer honestly that we are, by and large, the only ones in our lives. All that we really possess is a body and a soul. And if you tune in properly, you can always find strength within yourself. And I don’t know the limits of my body, I am not aware of the limits of my love. When we fall in love with something new, with someone, it is as if a secret new door is opening inside. And it is incredible. Special. Inspiring. Not like any other. There are no limits for our love and our inner force. I would like to share with you that I discovered inside myself love towards hands, completely different hands. Towards your hands. A touch replaces thousands of words, that is why I decided to enrich my paintings with soft sculptures - hands. This is how art overpasses a frontier of a far away distance, and becomes closer to a spectator. We can touch it, can open it, we can embrace a painting. Remember that we have an inexhaustible source of energy inside us. No matter who we are and where we are, we can extend our hand, and another hand will be extended towards us.
