The Light After Death series combines organic animal skulls with man-made sleek neon, confronting the fragility of life and the eternal perfection of geometry. The work is a modern revisitation of a traditional hunting trophy in a new urban context, giving the work new life and meaning. Both beautiful and electrifying, these functional light pieces evoke a romantic reminder of the beauty of life and the inevitability of death - memento mori. Triangles represent action, strength and conflict, a holy trinity that connects us all. The tension between the female deer skull and triangular neon horns symbolises power, purpose and direction. Witty, distinctive and unforgettable, ‘Light After Death’ is the ideal wall light for art and design lovers looking to bring an eye-catching addition to their interior space.

Tiziano Summo is an artist made in Italy and crafted in London with many years of experience in advertising and events. During the pandemic, he has been undertaking his long-life dream of becoming an artist through a long process of self-awareness. Tiziano's installations examine the complex relationships between art and science, nature and technology, life and death. He believes that only by combining very different subjects is it possible to create something truly unique. With mortality as the central theme of his work, Tiziano challenges contemporary belief systems, thus exploring the uncertainties at the heart of the human experience. His practice is based on one simple truth: to embrace life truly, you must face death. His works have been published in international art magazines such as FOA and shown at The Other Art Fair London and Salone del mobile di Milano to name a few. This odyssey towards awareness led Tiziano on a therapeutic journey to discover himself and, in turn, invites us to stop, reflect and live.
