This artwork is inspired by the ritual of Iranian miniature painting as well as the western practice of life drawing of the female body. The work remarks on the dichotomy of traditional eastern and modern western values. My art practice is a reflection of my life as a migrant Iranian female artist who is in-between of different cultures. The works are mixed media (pen, pencil and watercolour) on 300 g/m2 watercolour paper. Size: 26.5 x 23 cm
