ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is from my grid-cage series that looks at the boundary between formal art attributes and concept driven input. It is part of a wider body of work that looks at how geometric art can converse with animal rights. These works, which includes 3D objects and paintings takes the geometry associated with fences, cages and chemical codes, and combines these with the symbols and colours of products associated with animal management.
