I have a deep attachment to nature to which I feels connected. It is these invisible and wonderful links that I seek to transcribe in my work. These links unite man to the living, but also men to each other. I like to emphasize the enrichment of those connections. Imbued with the cultures of the countries where I lived, I work has a spiritual dimension. Being present to yourself to be better connected to others, linking the past to the present, the visible to the invisible. I seek to show the beauty and fragility of these links. Following Paul Klee, Anne Peytavin thinks that “Art does not produce the visible, it makes visible”. In the act of creation, I use different medium that best correspond to my project: from paper worked in mixed techniques to digital art, including ceramics or encaustic painting. I like to layer and mixe, and superimpose images, in a palimpsest. My creations are linked to current events around the world and in Madagascar where has lived. Environmental and human issues are at the center of my artistic researches.
