Bow Basket - Limited Edition of 100 Artwork

There are no thoughts about to do’s or worries when I paint. I am completely absorbed in my work. Art makes me let go of logic. It gives me freedom. Nature, people, travels and my own life experience influence my art. I pick two or three colors and connect the combination to what I saw (a beautiful sight) or something that happened (a memory). I follow the brushes, paint and create stories on paper or canvas. Iceland became my source of inspiration during the time spent there, 2013-2015, through its amazing landscapes, the light on water, the weather, the combination of gravel or black sand beaches and yellow grass and the mountains. I have had a creative mind since childhood. That child who used to draw cartoon characters in pencil is still here, leading to the creation of figurative abstract paintings. Creativity for me is a need to explore who I am and continuously develop my artistic voice.
