ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Cloud Series first started with Cloud 9 which had my Abstract Dancers together in a tonal white and made from wood. It was dimensional with layers, textures with different finishes using resin and paste. I wanted to evoke the feeling of floating on Cloud 9 and after it sold, I tried new different sizes, colors and compositions. This one titled, Cloud 2: Cream Rises is believing things that are really great will naturally rise to the top because of their greatness. It is handcrafted as a modern relief artwork using my evolved dancer figures, shapes and forms in one plane.
