Dr. Olga Pechenova was born in Moscow. Twenty years she lives in Germany. Dr. Olga Pechenova is an elementary particle physicist, a Senior Scientist at the GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforshung in Darmstadt, Germany, and a member of HADES Collaboration. Nevertheless she passionate about making pictures and taking photographs. Olga Pechenova has authored multiple art-photography exhibitions over the past ten years in Germany, USA, Poland. Her art work is exhibited in art-galleries and city halls and attracts a lot of interest from specialists and the general public. Dr. Olga Pechenova presents the synthesis of the photo compositions, photo collages, poetic lines, music and video. Fine-art photography of Olga Pechenova exposes surprising and surreal aspects of colors and shapes, metaphors and symbols, nature and human beings, and puts them in the context of world poetry. The unique combination of scientific knowledge and intuition with the author’s artistic vision reveals angles and layers of comprehension of deeply related metaphysical categories, such as space and time, symmetries and scales, matter and geometry, universe and multiverse. Exhibitions show metaphorical connections between different aspects of reality perceived through the concepts of modern physics which provide a deeper understanding of the world around us.
