This unique abstract landscape with elements of cityscape (rectangular shapes on the background somehow remind buildings) was literally made with fire! No paint or any other medium, just fire that turned the paper and cardboard into ashes. Surprisingly, but this artwork is about hope. It shows that any disaster and destruction inevitably lead to the new beginning. Even a burned substance may turn into the new forms that are more interesting and complex then the initial material. Just like a Phoenix rising from flames, the land, towns and villages, the whole country may rise, rebuild, and get even better and stronger than it was before. The artwork consists of burned paper and cardboard with partial lacquer coating on MDF board, framed and covered by museum quality anti-reflective glass. The artwork is ready to hang. The artwork will be shipped securely packed in a wooden box. Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Art, to me, is a profound exploration of the world that surrounds us - a journey of discovery, experience, and self-understanding. It is a medium through which I unravel the essence of things - their colors, forms, and the interplay between them. I believe in the power of simplicity, in the art of removing the excess and uncovering the necessary, much like a sculptor chisels away at stone. In my paintings, I strive to distill forms to their purest essence, reaching a point where nothing else can be removed without sacrificing meaning. The "necessary" elements, as I perceive them, remain, serving as conduits for my impressions and self-reflections on the subject at hand. My aim is not to depict something specific but rather to transfer the emotions and thoughts evoked by the object onto the canvas. I seek artistic forms that can boldly and vividly capture the essence of these feelings, rather than mere visual representation. In this pursuit, my work often exists on the precipice between figurative and abstract art - place where emotions take precedence over strict visual interpretation. Through my art, I invite viewers to embark on their own contemplative journeys, to interpret the subtleties and engage with the interplay of emotions and forms. Each brushstroke carries the weight of my perceptions, inviting you to join me in this exploration of the human experience.
