About The Artwork

Description Introducing Gordie, the jokester of the family. Gordie is a rule breaker but he still loves and obeys his mama. With less than one thousand wild gorillas left on the planet, Gordie represents the fragility of our ecosystem and the need to preserve and protect wildlife. Gordie is the third piece from my upcoming "Not Your Trophy" collection - a trippy neon pop art take on a traditional hunting lodge trophy wall. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each piece will be donated to wildlife preservation NGOs that focuses on education and conservation.

Cheerful and unexpected modern art, inspired by the good life and the things that help us live it! Jordanna Ber is a Canadian born artist, who lives and works in sunny Barcelona, Spain. Her degree in Design led her on a professional path of creative roles, initially designing beauty and fashion spreads for magazines, as well as national billboards for well known brands such as Roxy, Joe Fresh and Clarins. At first glance, her coloured pencil realism works on paper, appear photographic. Playing with scale on white backgrounds allows her curated and eye-catching subjects to come to life, jumping from the paper. Each piece takes between 80-200 hours of work. Her work has been featured in Women United Art Magazine, Saatchi Art's Online Studios, and she has been interviewed by Return On Art and Frikifish Magazine. Jordanna regularly exhibits with her gallery, Canal, and with The Other Art Fair in Europe and North America. Jordanna graduated with a Bachelors of Design in 2008 and holds an MBA from the University of Bath. She lives in Barcelona, Spain. Larger print sizes and ready to hang artwork is available upon request, please contact us via email curator@saatchiart.com to arrange.
