Art Description: Into the Mist, 2009 Shangri-La Print on Fine Art Smooth Paper 200 gram. *The artwork was developed from the film more than 10 years ago. We did a lot of procedures including handcraft and AI enhancement to make this work comes true, from a low-resolution photo, and make it paint-liked texture. It’s fun to try and error many times in this experimental process. It may not be perfect, but the imperfection made it Art. Story of the Artwork: When you are searching for the meaning of daily life but can’t see a clear sign in front of the road. You feel that you are just walking in the forest, the sky is getting dark, and you are so frustrated that everything doesn’t work out and like walking into the mist. This Artwork Into The Mist is talking about this situation and reflection. In 2009 I was tired of my routine job and decided to quit, traveling as a backpacker from Sichuan to Yunnan(Shangri-La)inside Daocheng Yading. I walked many roads, in the mountains, forest, lakes in the highland, villages. I took this Artwork while walking in the forest from Sichuan to Yunnan. What I wanna do was looking through the misty road and I am sure I can see the sunshine another day. That's the story of this artwork. Thanks to the Team and the Universe.
