INSIGHT - Limited Edition of 10 Artwork

The “Sky Cities” collection features abstract images that entertain the fantasy of a mystical utopian civilizations that exist on another vibrational plane of existance. In creating these artworks, my approach is much the same as with my other abstract art collections. I begin by selecting photographs from my extensive body of photographic imagery. I choose random portions of a particular image based on the merit of the color and texture that interests me. I then place these fragments or sections, onto a white canvas in Photoshop. From here, I will advance the work through several layers of adjustments using a variety of computer editing software to birth the artwork. Working on the initial white background brings the work into a plane of sharp relief and translucent color. This “New Media” approach to creating an abstract artwork would not have been possible a dozen years ago. The intention of my “Sky Cities” collection, is for the art to inspire an atmosphere of stillness which is distinct from a conceptual experience. Rather, it invites the viewer to feel the artwork with the heart and surrender to a subtle and sublime moment of stillness while connecting with the art. This work is a vibrant photographic print that is bonded between polished acrylic and a Dibond aluminum backing making the art 10mm in thickness. The reflective and translucent nature of this acrylic glass gives a stunning depth and radiance to the art presentation. The hanging hardware is an aluminum rail system that accomodates wall hooks with no further framing needed. (Refer to the the images above for a visual example). This is an ultra contemporary work of art. The quality of this artwork presentation is outstanding and of the highest quality. Each image is limited to an edition of ten, signed and numbered on the back. A certificate of authenticity is included. Allow two weeks for delivery.
