About The Artwork
This work was inspired by lichens grown on the twigs and branches in Epping Forest. Lichen is composite organism with numerous variety of shapes and colours, some frilly, some powdery, some looks like seaweed, and colours of acid yellow, jade, pea green. I gave the whole work pop art treatment to emphasise the amazing shapes and composition.

I draw inspiration from pop art movement from 1960s, favouring simple lines and strong colours to convey powerful message. Currently based in London.
