ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A conic map projection simulation of an imaginary geological feature as a map. Bowls are hand made with concrete, photographed and geometrically arranged to simulate the method of a conic map projection.The cone serves as mediator between the unfoldable sphere and the flat velum.
