Mixed media art on texturized wood. Created by collaging various prints of an iconic image I created digitally by combining a found photo of Marilyn Monroe with satellite pictures of the Los Angeles airport and downtown area. The prints are torn and distressed before being collaged, giving the art a worn-out feeling. Acrylic paint is added around the image.

Italian-born, California-based Anyes Galleani is an award-winning visual artist whose work has received international recognition. A former fashion photographer and video director, Anyes has created art throughout her life using photography, photomontage, collage and paint and has been a full-time artist since 2012. For manyl years, Anyes’ studio and later art gallery were located in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles and her work consisted of pop art influenced by street art and by her fashion background and urban surroundings. In 2021 Anyes moved to the California countryside where she has been inspired to create abstract art. However, her core style has not changed being still reminiscent of pop & street art, featuring bright colors, paint drips and an unmistakable rawness characteristic of her work.
