Pick Me (framed) Artwork

My inspiration for this work was to create flowers with a very limited palette on a large canvas, using three primary colours plus white. And while I was mixing and letting the flowers find themselves, I couldn’t help but think of the one standing tall at the front saying ‘pick me!’ Come and walk into this floral abundance, turn the corner at the top of the steps and continue up the dots to the sky. Then go back down to the water and take a ride in the boat. Scratching and scraping with a pallet knife and a skewer, there are textures, drips, swirls and squiggles creating interest. Mixed media on Canvas using Acrylic, gesso and graphite. 100cm(W) x 100cm(H) x 6cm(D) Framed in a custom made white float (as pictured) and ready to hang. It’s a fabulous statement piece. Artist’s signature on the front.
