REINCARNATION, 2006 (Black and White Collection) Approx. Size: H23.4 x W33.1 inches (A1) Limited Edition 1 of 33 Visit kenkung.com for details and prices of other options. Art Description: REINCARNATION, 2006 (Black and White Collection) Mei Foo Print on Raster Silk Art Paper 290 gram *The artwork was developed from the film more than 10 years ago. We did a lot of procedures including handcraft and AI enhancement to make this work comes true, from a low-resolution photo, and make it paint-liked texture. It’s fun to try and error many times in this experimental process. It may not be perfect, but the imperfection made it Art. Story of the Artwork: This Artwork was taken with FUJIFILM by my beloved Nikon FM2 camera. I was so crazy about photography when I was young that, I could bring 2 cameras and go to different places in this tiny Hong Kong. To capture the surroundings, to feel the culture, to record the light and the shadow. It was the most delightful thing from my heart. I love Amusement Park. I feel like this is a dreamy place for most of the children. In a little playground, you can choose to enjoy different games and feel the moments with your own choice. After all, the experience and the memories stick into your brain and become your story. Just like in your life. Isn't it? This artwork: REINCARNATION, is about the belief that a dead person's spirit returns to life in another body. When you experience all the things in your life and come to the end of your time. You need to leave no matter how much you want to stay. When the merry-go-round stops, the people changes and let the newcomers in. That's Life. That's the story of this artwork. Hope you love my Artwork.
