How I Intend Textural Storytelling At the heart of my Chronicled approach, the textures become a large part of the vocabulary, the fills are the content of sentences, and the composition is the hero narrative. This movement thrives on the notion that every texture tells a story, inviting viewers to unravel the tales woven into the artwork. Resolving Through Marks Just as life is a journey of resolving conflicts and finding equilibrium, the Chronicled approach to art making mirrors the endeavor through the practice. The act of doing the art becomes the metaphor to our struggles and triumphs of human existence. The deliberate interplay of contrasting textures, bold and assertive values to gentle and delicate marks, together echo a signature of balance we seek in our lives. Balancing Chaos and Order In the intricate dance of textured forms, we find beauty in the juxtaposition of chaos and order. Just as one’s life path oscillates between moments of experience both; chaotic and that of clarity, these artworks embody a similar duality. The textures may seem haphazard, but they are carefully orchestrated to convey a sense of harmony. It’s a reminder that resolution and balance often emerge from the intertwining of the seemingly discordant.
