The multimedia artist Vlad Khart (Volodymyr Kharchenko) is a Ukrainian artist, poet and writer. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Representative of the “New Ukrainian Wave”. The author of the original graphic technique, which he called "metagraphy". Biography Was born on March 20, 1959 in Odessa in a family of employees. At the age of five, he moved to Kiev with his family. He worked until 1980s as a programmer, then deputy director and director of a private company. Since 1993 he has been a freelance artist, writer and poet. Lives in Kiev. For over 30 years he has been working in the areas of New Art, Net art, Digital Art, Metagraphy, Sound art, Media art. The first works in technology, the new media began to create in the mid-80s. These were computer programs that create animated interactive objects on a monitor. It was incredibly interesting for me to dive into the image, dissect and redesign it. At that time, new media objects such as Extended Life were created, based on the game Life - a cellular automaton, invented by the English mathematician John Conway in 1970. I added color space to a well-known game that started to spawn amazing imagery. The next work in the field of new media was the program "Immersion in Mandelbrot Space". Like previous work, it was an interactive object that allows you to explore different areas of the Mandelbrot fractal (the Mandelbrot set is one of the most famous fractals, including beyond mathematics, thanks to its color visualizations), as well as dive into any chosen area. The first works in the field of net art and sound art were posted back in 1991 on the Fidonet network. These were the world's first networked concerts of digital sample music created on a computer using programming, without the use of musical instruments. Recently, he has been working in the direction of FB-art (Facebook art) - one of the varieties of network art, in which the media components of each project are linked to other works in the coordinates of virtual space and time through hyperactive links. Participated in the project "Digital yard No. 3 / Digital yard No. 3", demonstrated in Amsterdam (Holland) in 2008.
