This collection of digital trees holds a profound connection to my late grandmother. In anticipation of being visited after a lifetime of hard work, she invested in a small piece of land on the coast, a dream that remained unfulfilled. It wasn't until long after her passing that I visited the place. My grandmother foresaw my artistic journey, often expressing her belief in my potential greatness from my early days working on tree drawings as a child. Through this collection, I aim to evoke a sense of connection to life itself, encouraging viewers to reflect on their roots and families even when physically apart. I want them to ponder the swift passage of time for humans compared to trees and how emotions persist, transcending physical presence. Designed as miniature pieces, this collection is ideal for arrangement in small frames, adding a decorative touch to white walls. The digital medium was chosen to vividly convey the kind, happy, generous, energetic, and powerful spirit of my late grandmother. Keep in mind that this is a miniature piece—a digital work that will be printed on matte paper for you to fully appreciate. It comes unframed, and I recommend framing it for display. Hardware is not included.

Ecuador
An Ecuadorian artist, navigates the local artistic landscape with a distinctive approach, diverging from the typical dichotomy prevalent among Quitenian artists. Rather than aligning with the bohemian left or the elite, art-educated right, Angela embraces her identity as an ambitious Quitenian with a down-to-earth perspective. Balancing her artistic pursuits with a middle-class sensibility, Angela introduces a unique voice in the narrative of Ecuador's art scene. She modestly considers herself a sui generis expressionist, influenced by her early exposure to art through her mother, Angie, and the captivating oil-painting sessions with her aunt-in-law, the esteemed artist Micaela Almeida.Angela's artistic journey began with humble doodles of flowers, symbolizing intimacy and family bonds. Her style, marked by an indiscriminate use of colors, reflects her innate creativity. Turning to digital mediums for expression, she reserves traditional materials for moments of artistic freedom. Angela, embracing vulnerability, desires a return to the simplicity of white canvases. She discreetly embeds messages in her art, inviting viewers to discover joy in nature scenes, and showcasing Quitenian humor with humility and depth.
