Susan Landesmann

Susan Landesmann was born and raised in Vienna, Austria, and moved to the United States to study art history and communications at Simmons College in Boston. After graduating, she worked as a production coordinator at the Guggenheim Museum and Lincoln Center in New York, before earning a degree in design from Parsons. Since 1996, she has worked as a graphic designer/creative director in Los Angeles, where she founded her own studio, Landesmann Design, in 2007. Her artistic practice is deeply influenced by her design background, blending mediums like silkscreen printmaking, digital collage, acrylic, oil, and paper. Her work has been featured in several group exhibitions across Los Angeles, showcasing her innovative approach to composition and form. Recent projects focus on the interplay of shapes, lines, and vibrant color, reflecting her passion for creating visually dynamic pieces that bridge the gap between design and fine art.
