This artwork is crafted through a collaborative effort by two artists, myself & Nain Tara, each of us infusing our distinct styles into a 3D composition. The artwork stands as an embodiment of contemporary & modern sensibilities, effectively conveying the concept of displacement, home, and nostalgia. We took inspiration from the profound impact of human experiences, particularly those of individuals confronted with displacement and longing for a sense of belonging. Their collective observation of global migration, cultural shifts, and stories of displaced communities served as a powerful catalyst for creating this evocative piece with significant use of crockery as a universal domestic object. Aiming to evoke a profound emotional connection within the viewers. The juxtaposition of found ceramic materials, bearing the weight of history and craftsmanship, alongside the vibrancy of acrylic paint, symbolizes the complexity of human existence. The portrayal of displaced elements nestled amidst a landscape of nostalgia speaks to the universal longing for a place called 'home.'
