New Media: digital painting on Other.

This work was inspired by the fact that all color exists, visibly, between the axis of white and black (the presence of all colors and the absence of any color. The natural world is really a constantly shifting show of color that modulates along this axis. The two predominant tones I have used, violet and green, are also at the poles of a particular color space, the RGB color space, the color space of the computer, the color space of emitted rather than reflected light.
